The word “renaissance” comes to mind when you arrive at The Aberdeen. This 1870s midterm rental property Italianate historic townhome has all the charm and sophistication of yesteryear with a tasteful infusion of mid-century modern furnishings from the 1960s.
Living Spaces:
The open concept floorplan between the kitchen and living space is a departure from more formal layouts that were popular during the same period, making this style of home unique and ideal for holding intimate gatherings like bridal preparations or romantic getaways with your favorite person.
We selected the furnishings and decor with creative professionals and interior design enthusiasts in mind, ensuring that everything lends itself to relaxation and provides a comfortable environment for working remotely. But please don’t work too hard while you’re here! We fully expect you to take breaks and work on getting your groove back while playing our vinyl collection on the turntable or simply spending some time with a big book lying on the couch under the soaring 11 ft. ceilings.
Sleeping Accommodations:
Relax and let the cares of the day slip away as you drift off to sleep on the queen-sized Casper mattress wrapped in quality linens. This particular mattress was chosen because it offers complete support while still being ultra-comfy and working to keep you cool while you sleep (which is a gift if you run a little hot at night). We actually think there’s a high chance you’ll miss sleeping here when you get home -so just promise to tell Casper we sent you, ok?
We’ve also installed dedicated climate controls in the bedroom to ensure a night of comfortable sleep for all our guests.
Additionally, a sleeper sofa in the living room will comfortably sleep 2 adults.

Chef’s Kitchen and Dining Space:
The Aberdeen is fully equipped with all the tools, dishes, and basic condiments to get the job done. But, if you’re craving delivery, you’ll appreciate the counter space on the island to lay out your dishes and dig in.
Something about the kitchen island makes morning coffees and conversations over a bottle of wine feel cozy with a side of swanky. The sleek white kitchen cabinets juxtaposed against the exposed brick and a moody dark teal breakfast bar exude a luxurious vintage vibe that makes all our guests want to linger a little longer and take things slow—no need to rush around here.
Of course, we’ve also included a french press with fresh beans, and grinder (if you’re more serious about your coffee) and a Keurig if you want your coffee fast because some of the most creative ideas start with a good cup of joe, are we right?
Outdoor Space:
Is there anything better than your own private outdoor courtyard?
The unique outdoor space is truly one of the highlights of the property. It’s an enviable space for enjoying a meal, hosting a zoom meeting or just spending some time sipping your favorite drink. With private outdoor seating, tropical plants, and twinkly lights, romantic warm summer evenings are inevitable.
